This is a testament to going through the sober living process. Nicholas still lives in one of the 3/4 house where he and the guests have sustained long periods of sobriety with the help of doing it together as a community dating all the way back in Dickson at Discovery place. Nicholas jumped at the opportunity and has been helping TJ oversee and manage all the properties under Safe and Sound. After House Managing for a few months an opportunity arose in management with Safe and Sound. Helping alcoholics/addicts in there daily struggles provides Nicholas so much fulfillment and joy while also help remind him and keep him accountable. Nicholas has decided that this is the path that he wants to take. In February of 2022, Nicholas became a House Manager at one of the Halfway houses where he started working with alcoholics/addicts in a mentor role. From there he went into a halfway house for another 6 months. Nicholas started out at Discovery Place in Dickson, Tennessee. Nicholas Cies began his journey in sobriety in April of 2021. The sole purpose of this organization is to subsidize rent, pay for activities and events, and make sure the guests have everything they need to feel at home. He knew that property management alone wouldn’t execute his vision to provide greater levels of support to this community, so he started a non-profit organization called Safe & Sound Foundation. Because of this, he is selective in his process of partnering with investors. He believes in each tenant in every home and will always be on their side, standing up for them and making decisions with their best interest in mind. After living in a few different sober living houses, he knew there was room for opportunity to provide even better housing as well as sustainable care and support. This ultimately led him to partner with Jacob, and together they manage a total of four houses in the Nashville area with at least two more coming before the end of 2022. Within a month of living in his first halfway house, he set (and quickly achieved) a goal to become the house manager because he understood the value of living in community. TJ Bombard began his sober living journey in 2018 and then started Safe & Sound after a full year of treatment and halfway house living.
